Reverend Thomas E. Chambers, C.S.C., President of Willwoods Community, holds a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame, and an M.A. from Holy Cross College in Washington, D.C., as well as an M.A. and Post-Doctoral Work from Harvard University.

He has served as President of Willwoods Community since 2003, and President of WLAE/TV and LAE Productions since 2007. For 16 years, Father Chamber was President of Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans. Prior to his appointment in New Orleans, he was Vice-President for Academic Affairs at Ursuline College of Cleveland, Ohio for 11 years. He has served the Congregation of Holy Cross Indiana Province as Provincial Administration-Provincial Counselor since 2003.

Father Chambers is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Licensed Professional Counselor. He is also the founder of the International Student Leadership Institute at the University of Notre Dame, and shepherds a local chapter of the organization.

He serves on the boards of King’s College, Holy Cross College of Notre Dame Indiana, and on the boards of the New Orleans organizations of Council of Young Children, Unity Council on the Homeless, Covenant House, YMCA, Family Development Center, and the World Trade Center. He is listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who Among Human Services Professionals

Father Chambers holds numerous honors: the Magistral Chaplain of the Order of Malta; a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem, Papal Knight (1989-present); Pro Ecclesia Et Pontifice (1999); Spes Unica Award from Our Lady of Holy Cross College (2002); and honorary doctorates from the University of Portland, King’s College, and Our Lady of Holy Cross College.
